Anglian Building Products has extensive experience in delivering large-scale refurbishment projects for the public sector including many education establishments.


With around 50 education authorities overall now having confirmed funding for their primary capital programme for the next two years and over 1,500 rebuilding and refurbishment projects identified as in the pipeline, the demand for large scale refurbishment programmes is high on the agenda.Having gained experience in working on a range of refurbishment schemes from infant schools to university campus, Anglian’s bespoke fenestration solutions and service delivery programmes offer the flexibility which many establishments demand.


Working around teachers’ busy schedules, Anglian mainly undertakes refurbishment work during school holidays to minimise any disruption caused.For each project undertaken a bespoke fenestration solution which focuses on safety, security, improved thermal performance and reduced life cycle costs are tailored to met clients’ specific needs. They also ensure all of their on-site personnel are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked as standard to provide clients with complete piece of mind.


The safety and security of pupils and staff is of paramount importance at all times and Anglian develops their refurbishment programmes to ensure that all relevant health and safety process are adhered to. Anglian has also developed a close relationship with the schools to minimise disruption and are committed to supporting education through their work with the Considerate Constructors scheme.


Many architects look to make a statement through innovative and creative designs which utilize large glazed areas and bright frame colours that compliment the structure and design of New Build buildings. With a substantial requirement still for the replacement of timber windows on traditionally built school buildings, PVCu is the ideal solution and Anglian the ideal partner.
