Park View achieves five star rating

Luminus’ flagship extra care scheme Park View has achieved a five star rating for food hygiene.

The ‘excellent’ rating is the highest possible score and is evidence of Luminus’ commitment to achieving the highest standards.

The on site restaurant is run by Elior UK and provides three course lunches to the residents of Park Views 34 purpose built extra care flats.

Park View’s facilities also include a fully landscaped and enclosed garden, hairdressers, laundry room, hobbies area, library, physio room and a guest suite available to residents’ visitors.

Jason Jones, Operations Manager of Healthcare Division of Elior UK said,

“We are proud to be working in partnership with Luminus and I am pleased to say that Teresa (Chef Manager) and her team are very much enjoying working with the residents and staff at Park View. All of the residents’ individual needs are met with a varied, nutritionally balanced day to day menu. Pre and post opening assessments were carried out by our Specialist Hygiene and Safety Managers who are employed on an ongoing basis to ensure that every site adheres to relevant legislation and the requirements of the Avenance Hygiene and Health & Safety Manuals; support is given to Teresa in ensuring high standards are met and has contributed to Park View achieving a five star rating for food hygiene.”
