A nurse will appear in court today accused of killing his wife and making it look like she died in a car crash.
Brent Mott, 31, from Southport, Merseyside, is charged with the murder of his wife Kate, 35, who was also a nurse.
Her body was found last month in the driver's seat of the couple's Ford Focus after it appeared in a field off a country lane in Scarisbrick, Lancashire.
A post-mortem examination showed she was strangled.
The couple, who had two children aged three and 13 months, both worked at Southport Hospital.
Mott, of Everard Road, Southport, will appear at 9.45am by video
