Crime falls overall but gun crime rises in London

New figures released for last summer have revealed that the risk
of being a victim of crime fell to 22%.
The British Crime Survey (BCS), which measures people's
experiences of crime rather than just incidents reported to the
police, also found that 55% of people thought the police were doing
a good job but only about 4 out of ten people thought the criminal
justice system overall was effective.
