Derbyshire-based Three Valleys Housing has strengthened its Executive Team with the appointment of two new Directors.

Helen Scurr joins as Director of Housing and Nasreen Hussain as Director of Finance.

Helen was previously Managing Director of PM Training, the social enterprise arm of the Aspire Group in Stoke-on-Trent.

With over 20 years experience in the housing sector, she has also been a Regional Manager at Focus Housing Group and Assistant Director of Housing Services at Aspire.

Nasreen was Interim Director of Resources at TVH, before taking this permanent position.

She has also worked at the Housing Corporation, at Leeds & Yorkshire Housing Association as Director of Corporate Services, and as Finance Director for Framework Housing Association.

Paul Eastwood, Chief Executive of TVH said: “We are delighted to have Helen and Nasreen on board. They will both play a vital role in helping us to build on our one-star ‘excellent’ rating.

“There are exciting times ahead for the organisation. With a sound financial plan and a clear focus on delivering planned and improving services, we are well placed for our journey to excellence.”

TVH manages 5,200 homes in and around Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Sandiacre. The organisation was established in March 2002 to take ownership of housing stock transferred from Erewash Borough Council.

It is one of the largest housing associations in Derbyshire. Through its nationally-accredited Carelink Centre, TVH also supports 10,000 vulnerable people across the East Midlands, West Midlands and Lancashire.
