The results of a Tenant Status Survey published by Derwentside Homes has revealed 87% of tenants are satisfied with the services they receive.
The survey, which saw more than half of tenants return their questionnaires, also demonstrates that 92% of tenants are satisfied with workers carrying out repairs and maintenance to their homes.
Other key results show 86% of tenants are satisfied with the quality of their homes, 85% find staff helpful and 84% believe their rent is value for money.
Derwentside Homes was delighted with the positive feedback received from tenants, which indicates that the most important service they provide for tenants is the repairs service which achieved the highest satisfaction rating.
The social landlord is determined to continue delivering an excellent service to tenants by continually bringing about improvements and achieving excellence in service delivery.
Geraldine Wilcox, the Chief Executive of Derwentside Homes, said: “We are delighted with the results of our Tenant Status Survey which shows that our customers are more than satisfied with the quality of services being delivered by Derwentside Homes.
“Our focus is on the future, and we intend to use this customer feedback to make sure we continue to deliver an excellent service over the coming weeks and months. As an organisation, we always aim to lead the way in providing excellent products and services and are fully committed to placing tenants’ needs at the heart of everything we do.
“We can only continue to perform well by listening to our customers and reacting to their needs and requests.”
The positive feedback comes after Derwentside Homes successfully launched their new office at Greengates House in Stanley, supported by North West Durham MP Hilary Armstrong and North Durham MP Kevan Jones.
The new office has been built using environmentally-friendly materials and brings all 200 staff under one roof. The modern, open plan office space also provide a modern cafe for tenants and staff.
