Papworth Trust is looking ahead to summer with its music and drama schools. Now in their eighth year, the schools provide a fun-filled week of singing, music and drama for adults with a disability.

The schools, each with a different theme, are run by a group of professional music instructors and performers. Themes are decided by the tutors at the beginning of each school and are shaped to suit the ‘students’. Previous productions include scenes from My Fair Lady and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Friends and family are invited to a special grand finale performance which showcases the students skills learned during the week. The summer school will take place between 10-14 August and 24-28 August.

Both Schools will take place at the Papworth Trust Centre, Saxongate. The award-winning community learning Centre in the heart of Huntingdon creates opportunities and offers support for adults regardless of age or ability.

If you would like to book a place for either, or both of the summer schools, visit www.papworth.org.uk/summerschool2009, or call Amelia Hodson, learning services manager on 01480 423055 for more information.
