UP & Working, the Community Employment Agency with a difference, has recently achieved both the Customer First and Matrix Standard national quality accreditations. These accreditations highlight the quality of service UP & Working provide in the delivery of information advice and guidance and determine the high level of customer service they offer.

UP & Working, funded through the Kirklees Access to Employment Programme, which is funded by Yorkshire Forward, assist people to overcome barriers preventing them from securing employment. They also offer information to local organisations helping them implement infrastructures that will allow them to grow, ultimately creating new job opportunities across the district.

The Matrix Standard is a unique framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance, which ensures consistency, matches skills with needs and ensures the efficient use of resources. The Customer First Accreditation ensures that organisations understand their customer needs, tailor services to meet their requirements and provide quality customer care and follow up. UP & Working received excellent feedback from both of their assessors, with their candidate pier support and Community Champion models receiving high praise on both occasions.

Group Chairman Balbir Singh Uppal OBE JP commented “as a group we are delighted about this achievement. These quality standards highlight the excellence in service delivery that runs right across all subsidiaries within the Sadeh Lok Group”.

UP & Working are also able to provide job brokerage opportunities giving employers access to their expansive database of local, vetted candidates. They supply high quality temporary and permanent staff to selected organisations throughout the region and operate across various sectors specialising in industrial, engineering, finance & accounting, education, sales & marketing and commercial work.
