Waterworld celebrates prestigious award for customer service
Waterworld, the UKs number 1 indoor tropical aqua park, has become one of only three visitor attractions in the West Midlands to achieve a Servicemark Silver Award for outstanding customer care and commitment to service excellence.
The accolade recognises organisations that demonstrate strong customer focus at all levels and high standards of client satisfaction.
Waterworld was bought by entrepreneur and tourism industry supporter Mo Chaudry in 1999. Since then, he and his team have turned it into one of Midlands leading visitor attractions, with over 400,000 visitors a year passing through its doors on Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent.
It is best described as an indoor water based theme park with a wide array of exciting rides and features, which include typhoon lagoon, family multi slides, aqua assault course, outdoor pool/beach area and much, much more which all makes for a great family day out, whatever the weather.
Mo, who people may recognise as one of televisions secret millionaires, is a board member and Vice Chair of Enjoy Staffordshire and is passionate about the promotion of tourism in Staffordshire.
As a commercial outfit we recognise the success of any business is dependant not only on providing a great product, but an even greater customer service. Simply if you look after your customers they will continue to look after you.
I am very pleased that we have not only achieved the Servicemark Silver Award but we are one of the 1st in the industry to do so.
Simon Smith, Business Adviser with Business Link in the West Midlands, said:
Waterworlds commitment to its customers has been clear ever since we began working with General Manager Tim Kiely and the team. The accolade is a tribute to their dedication and is
well-deserved.
