TODAY IN COMMUNITIES

This Sunday (24th August) Piper Hill, Coburn will play host to a football tournament and family fun day!

The event, organised by North Yorkshire Police, will start at 10 am and will be ongoing all day. Events will include:

A 5-a-Side football tournament (max squad 8 people)

  • BBQ
  • Fun Events for children of all ages (that means parents can join in too!)

The star prize for the winning team of the tournament will be a trip to Light Water Valley, Ripon!

The event is aimed at encouraging community cohesion within Colburn and surrounding areas. This will be done by mingling all age groups together in one venue and enjoying a fabulous day! Hopefully the weather will be fair as well!
