'Batman' causes congestion chaos on M25
Rush hour traffic ground to a halt today on one of Britain's busiest roads after a protester climbed on to a gantry.
Holidaymakers heading to Heathrow Airport were among those caught up in long tailbacks after four lanes of the M25 were closed.
The affected section is on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junction 15 - the M4 turn-off - and junction 14, for Heathrow.
The Highways Agency said traffic jams were stretching back to junction 16.
The man, who is dressed as Batman, is thought to be linked to the protest group Fathers 4 Justice.
The Highways Agency is warning drivers to expect delays of up to 90 minutes.
Traffic is now queuing back to junction 18 at Chorleywood.

Prat. I recognise the aims of F4J when theyre clambering on ministers houses or up buildings, they feel they have a point and theyre making it. Closing the M25, screwing up family holidays because people miss flights, what is the point? I will look less kindly on them in the future as I think will a lot of people who might previously have supported them. Not all publicity is good publicity.
