A set of planning applications seeking permission to put signs on roundabouts throughout the borough are to be reported back to the Planning Committee on 21 September.

This is due to a delay in sending letters to people who had formally commented on the proposals, informing them of the date of the original Planning Committee meeting.

Cllr Peter Chillingworth, Chairman of the Planning Committee, said: "We're sorry for any inconvenience caused, however as an open council we believe it is important that people have the chance to have their say on planning applications. As the letters only arrived with those people who had commented on the application on the day of the meeting, we believe it is important that a further opportunity is provided for them to come and share their views."
