Kypera has launched Kypera Housing 2.6 as a result of additional functionality and new modules requested by current and new customers. The new features fall into two brackets: firstly, enhancements to the core system and secondly Kypera has added four new modules.

Notable additions to the core system are an incoming call screen to route users straight to the record of the person on the end of the phone, a spellchecker on all letters and notes as well as enhanced security to assign people to user groups and associate full, read only or totally hidden access rights by those groups.

Additional modules available in Kypera Housing 2.6 include Direct Debits which produces an AUDDIS-compliant file to pass directly through the banking software for collection of rents and service charges.

The Complaints, Compliments and Suggestions module embeds the rules and workflow of the organisation’s complaints process and feeds into the WorkTray by assigning actions and timings for specific users.

The new Care & Support module is for recording and evaluating a case through to assessment and referral.

The incoming call facilities within Kypera Housing 2.6 can also be interfaced to a digital telephone system with the incoming number being recognised by Kypera Housing and the details for the enquirer being loaded to screen automatically.

Despite being recently released, two of Kypera’s clients are already live on this latest version and numerous others are set to upgrade in the New Year.
