Gloucester Rugby teams up with allpay.net
Gloucester Rugby’s Adam Eustace and Welsh international Gareth Delve took time out of their training schedule to join the team at public sector bill payments specialist allpay.net.
The Kingsholm stars spent time with staff, answering questions and signing autographs during the company’s popular ‘Happy Hour’ when tea and cakes are served free.
The visit was to celebrate the launch of a three-year sponsorship deal with the Guinness Premiership club.
allpay, the UK’s only dedicated bill payment specialist, sees the deal as an opportunity to strengthen its reputation in a competitive marketplace.
Managing director Tony Killeen, said: “allpay.net has established a strong presence in the bill payments industry and has built its reputation working in the housing and local government
sectors fighting financial exclusion.
"Teaming up with Gloucester Rugby will enable us to promote the allpay brand to a wider audience whilst giving our staff the chance to rub shoulders with sporting elite.”
Lucky Linda Wozencroft, client care co-ordinator, was the winner of a staff quiz and went home with a signed rugby shirt which was worn on the first day of the season.
Linda was thrilled with the win and said: “It’s been a great end to a busy week. I love rugby and meeting the players was a treat in itself. Winning the shirt was an even bigger
bonus!”
