Next year, Hull KR will play in the same league as local rivals Hull FC leaving fans eager for a competitive league derby.
The celebrations will begin at Craven Park at 4pm on Sunday when the tour bus will leave the KC Stadium and travel down Preston Road, Annandale Road, Amethyst Road, Barham Road, Holderness Road, North Bridge, Freetown Way, Ferensway and Carr Lane before arriving at Hull City Hall.
Fans in Queen Victoria Square will be treated to highlights of the Robins'season and grand final on the big screen.
At 5.15pm the players will come out onto the City Hall balcony, welcomed by Viking FM's Neil Rudd. And the players will leave with a bang as the evening ends with a firework show.
Councillor Kalvin Neal, portfolio holder for leisure at Hull City Council, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to celebrate Hull Kingston Rovers' success. We want everyone to come along, wear the club's colours with pride, see their heroes and join in the fun."
