One of our major public sector clients is looking for a Head of Operational Property to join and lead their Business Services Team.

The purpose of the role is:
To lead and manage the Council's Buildings Unit, Estates, Facilities and Reprographic services, ensuring it is efficient and effective and delivers the highest possible level of customer/client satisfaction.

Deliver the service in accordance with any statutory, policy, financial, contractual or legal responsibilities, to ensure the appropriate and timely delivery of services.

To maintain the Council's building stock (excluding Council housing) including planned and reactive maintenance.

To manage the construction of new Council buildings

To advise the Council on the use of it's property holdings, and manage the Council's property portfolio and other land holdings.

To provide facilities management for Council offices (including reception, post, caretaking and security, maintenance)

To provide a printing / reprographics service to the whole Council

Salary £48,771 - £53,547
