Project Manager

Our client, a leading Professional Membership Body, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager. The key part of your job shall be strong management of a training materials project and the activities of various sub-groups within the organisation.
. The principal duties include:
• Liaising with relevant project stakeholders
• Developing publicity materials
• Working to support the development of the website to disseminate information about the project
• Assisting with the development and presentation of training materials
• Identifying and recruiting pilot sites and participants to evaluate the training materials
• Setting up and attending meetings of Project Board and Project working groups
• Monitoring the project budget and providing reports on request to project funders
The Person:
• Have a first degree in any subject, however it would be desirable to have a first degree in a relevant subject area e.g.: Health/Education/Nutrition or Social Care
• Experience of partnership working at local level in a health/education/social service setting
• A strategic approach to project management
• Excellent oral communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of people
• An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Good presentational skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, highly motivated,
• An understanding of NHS and public sector environments
• Experience of designing training materials for health professionals
