Our Client a national healthcare Regulatory body is seeking to employ a Development Manager to act as an integral part of the strategy team aiming to promote Equality, Diversity and Human Rights within Healthcare.
The key responsibilities of the Development Manager include:
- Working with the Head of Equality in developing the organisations work in relation to one of its key strategic goals namely; “To promote action to reduce inequalities in people's health and their experiences of healthcare, and to encourage respect within services for their human rights and diversity.”
- Leading on researching, scoping and developing projects relating to Equalities and Human Rights
- Ensuring that agreed key milestones are met
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and building relationships and networks in line with the strategy groups plans
- Providing regular reports, evaluating projects and disseminating findings
The essential criteria for this role include:
- Having previous experience in managing a team
- Extensive experience of leading, developing and managing projects and programmes within the health service or a related area
- A working knowledge of legal frameworks and policy issues relating to Equalities and Diversity
- A detailed knowledge of Healthcare regulation and policy
- Previous experience in dealing with complex problem solving using research and analysis to identify and develop methodologies
