An experienced and senior Interim Payroll Manager is urgently being sought by a London Borough Council.

With substantial experience within the public sector and the ability to control a Payroll department through a period of change, ideal candidates are needed to apply as soon as possible. An attractive rate of pay is on offer for candidates with suitable change management experience.

In addition to the overall running of the Payroll function within the council, the successful candidate will be involved with:

-Reviewing the processes and structure of the department
-Clarifying the roles of several junior members of staff within Payroll
-Resolving issues relating to the interaction between Payroll and General Ledger functions
