Our client who is a FE establishment based in Bristol is looking to appoint an Interim Head of Estates & Facilities for a minimum period of 6 months.

You will be a qualified surveyor or construction manager with an accredited degree or equivalent from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and be able to provide up to date professional advice on estates and maintenance issues.

You will be responsible for all day to day operations for key functional services across all College sites; including property; direct labour maintenance; building catering and cleaning contracts; estates, minor works, design and contract management, transport; security, portering and post room.

A proven track record in management and meeting performance and quality targets in another organisation are essential.

You will manage up to 70 staff through a management team of 4 managers and several major outsourced contracts including cleaning and catering.

To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate effective management of service contracts and functional teams within an environment commensurate with our size and complexity.

Remuneration: £400 – £700 per day
