Domestic Violence Worker

SWIM Recruitment is urgently seeking a Social Work Assistant with at least 6 months experience working in with women experiencing domestic violence, and previous experience in Women's Aid would be a great advantage. Naturally, the post requires good interpersonal skills, an empathic approach and a deep understanding of the impact and effects of domestic violence on the lives of women and children. There are two positions available; 1 worker to work in the refuge and 1 to work in the community.
In addition to these qualities, you must possess a relevant qualification (NVQ, NNEB, or a Youth/Community Degree), and be able to evidence a successfully completed CRB check within the last 12 months.
