We are seeking an outstanding individual to be our Group Health & Safety Coordinator overseeing health & safety in our offices, sheltered schemes, homeless hostels and general needs housing. You will be educated to NEBOSH diploma or equivalent level and be a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner with experience in health & safety at a senior management level.

Reporting to the Group Deputy Chief Executive the role calls for a strategic approach on health & safety across the group of companies. You will be required to travel to all Group sites across the Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire areas ensuring we stay at the forefront of social housing health & safety.

In addition to the strategic role we are looking for you to be an experienced ‘hands-on’ person able to provide practical solutions and advice in a wide range of social housing areas including day to day office work, new builds, refurbishments, Legionella and asbestos management and control. You will be vital in handling all aspects of safety for our 500 + strong workforce, including delivery of IOSH Managing Safely and Working Safely training courses for staff. You will also provide direction for the Group’s Facilities teams ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation.
