Licensing Officer
Responsibilities:-
Receive and process licence applications
Maintain an updated computerised and manual filing system
Receive fees
Provide advice and guidance to customers in relation to Licensing matters
Process service requests
Train and supervise staff
Meet deadlines
Give evidence in Court on Licensing matters
Liaise with external agencies
Issue renewal reminders for existing licensees
To be considered for this role you will need to display the following attributes:-
Experience of providing advice on Licensing matters on Private Hire and hackney Carriage drivers, vehicles and private operators including serving suspension notices according to legislation
Experience of data inputting and cash handling
Excellent customer skills
Knowledge of Private Hire and Hackney Carriage legislation and regulations
IT Literate
