Location: Field Lane Hostel, Liverpool

Field Lane Hostel is a Direct Access Hostel in Fazakerley providing accommodation, support and resettlement services for 36 single homeless men.

LHT are looking to recruit Casual Hostel Workers to work on an ad hoc basis to contribute to the smooth running of the project and to deliver a high quality service to residents.

You will work, as and when required, as an active member of the team working in close liaison with the Resettlement Team and all associated agencies to ensure the efficient and effective support of residents within Field Lane Hostel.

You will have the ability to empower and support residents to achieve their potential. Experience of working with a vulnerable client group providing housing support or in a similar hostel environment is essential. You should have a broad knowledge of relevant support, housing and welfare benefit legislation and an understanding of the Supporting People Framework. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as being computer literate

You must be professional, trustworthy and flexible (you may be required to work a shift at very short notice).
