Our Client, a Staffordshire based organisation are currently looking to recruit an experienced Homelessness Officer on a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months. The successful candidate will have worked in a similar position previously and have a full understanding of the Homelessness Act 2002.
Duties include:
- Interview clients that are homeless or threatened with homelessness
- Give advice and assistance to people who may become homeless
- Investigated individual cases and contact all relevant departments about case
- Make statutory homeless decisions
- Work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary agencies
