Homelessness Assistant

I am currently looking to recruit a Homelessness Assistant for a Midlands based authority. They are looking for somebody with strong customer service skills alongside a basic knowledge of homelessness. This role is temporary for at least 3 months and is an immediate start.

Duties include:

* Processing homeless applications
* Dealing with temporary accommodation requests
* Assisting Homeless Officers in undertaking comprehensive assessments and investigations
* Assisting officers to carry out detailed enquires and contacting external organisations
