Opportunities have arisen within the Supported Housing Team for Relief Support Line responders.

The successful candidates will be responsible for responding to community alarm calls from our service users and will positively contribute towards enabling them to maintain their independence and personal health and safety in their own home.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent people and customer focus skills, possess the ability to work unsupervised when required and be able to work and make decisions under pressure.

You will be required to provide cover for our full time staff during periods of annual leave, training and sickness. Therefore you may be contacted at short notice to provide cover on one of the shifts.

The shift patterns you will be working on will be as follows:

6.00 am – 2.30 pm,
2.00 pm – 10.30 pm
10.00 pm – 6.30 am on a four on four off basis.

Our service operates over 7 days per week and 52 weeks per year.

A full driving licence and the ability to understand the needs and communicate well with older and vulnerable people are pre-requisites. Additionally, it would be desirable, but not essential for applicants to have a current First Aid certificate. The above post is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.

As this is a relief position, it is a zero hours contract; in that there are no guaranteed hours for the post.
