Badenoch & Clark is currently assisting one of the largest housing providers in South Yorkshire to recruit a temporary housing advisor. The organisation assists thousands of people every year with advice and support on issues including, homelessness, general housing, temporary accommodation and supported housing.
The aims of the service are to:
•Provide direct advice services to client
•Create lasting relationships with clients and resettlement agencies to better deliver our services in the community
•Help to develop positive policies and practices delivered by statutory agencies that will prevent homelessness
•Develop the most appropriate models of support to clients to ensure the provision of housing advice services
•Write reports and respond promptly to reasonable information requests from head office
• Ensure all case records are accurate and completed as required by the organisations quality standards
•Contribute to regular team meetings
Successful candidates must have previous experience of working with and providing advice to vulnerable client groups and have a good working knowledge of current housing legislation's and government agenda's.
