Our client, a Local Housing Association is looking for a Housing Assistant to work on a temporary role at their Letchworth offices in Hertfordshire.

Primary Purpose of the Job:

To provide a high quality and efficient housing service to our customers, including managing former tenant debts, garage lettings and arrears, and supporting the housing team and Customer Services Officers.

Duties include:

To effectively deal with all housing enquiries

To act as a first line back up to the Customer Services Team

To provide administrative support to the housing team

To maintain an organised filing system

Liaise with internal and external staff, external stakeholders and tenants as required

To assist tenants, colleagues and other agencies with any reasonable requests in an appropriate manner

To provide an efficient and comprehensive service to customers in a calm and efficient manner

To take ownership of issues and resolve where possible, redirecting or escalating as appropriate
