Project Manager - Social Work Service Review

Our client, a large Local Authority based in the East of Scotland, is currently seeking a strong Project Manager with an indepth understanding of Social Work to undertake a thorough and detailed service review for one of their departments.

When successful, you will be tasked with:

1. Reviewing and - where necessary - redesigning service delivery processes and procedures for the departments involved
2. Researching and analysing points of cross-over for the services currently provided: with the aim to streamline the service provision and share services were applicable
3. Benchmarking and assessing current services against contemporaries: before recommending service changes as necessary
4. Reviewing and making recommendations on internal structure improvements



In light of this large scale project specification, to be successful in your application you will have to have a logical and analytical mindset, will have to be strong willed and determined to succeed, and shall be able to always look at the 'larger picture' when working through service revisions.



Importantly, you will also have the following experience apparent on your CV:

1) Social Work exposure - ideally at a Senior Level with a strong legislative knowledge
2) Extensive project management experience: from inception to completion
3) Knowledge of the boundaries Local Authorities are tied into
3) The ability to work with pressure and to strict deadlines
