Stockport Homes is an innovative, modern arms length housing organisation (ALMO), created in October 2005 employing over 330 staff and managing 12,000 properties across the borough of Stockport.
We have recently gained a 3 star ‘excellent’ rating in an audit commission inspection, which has given us a multi million pound investment programme to invest in our housing stock.
Building Surveyor
(Scale SO2) £26,067 – £27,594 (Pay Award Pending and Subject to Job Evaluation, with further progression up to £29,727 based on exceptional performance)
You will be responsible for implementing the investment programme to meet Decent Homes Standards. You will have project management responsibility and be required to draw up contract and tender documentation as well as ensuring cost and quality control targets are met.
You will have experience in new build development and preparing specification and contract documentation.
The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau.
