Do you have experience of budget monitoring and accounting for projects totalling millions of pounds? A Capital Accountant is required to work within an NHS Trust in Essex, monitoring the spending of roughly 120 community and hospital-based healthcare schemes.
With responsibility for collating, processing and presenting information on £20million worth of capital projects, the Capital Accountant will need to be experienced at dealing with huge budgets within the public sector.
NHS experience is not considered essential for applicants to this vacancy, making it a rare opportunity to move straight into a highly senior post within the health industry.
Desirable qualities for applicants to show include:
-Experience of handling large budgets and monitoring spending adding up to millions of pounds, in a sole charge capacity
-Skills of investigation or forensic accountancy to resolve variances in budgets and question service providers
-A background of working within the public sector
