Swim are looking for a Gully Driver to be part of a team engaged on the cleansing of drainage systems and if required work within Highway, Street Lighting or Drainage gangs.

The roll will be

·To undertake the day-to-day delivery of highway maintenance functions in line with the direction provided by the Works Supervisor and / or Senior Engineer.
·The erection and removal of signs, cones and barriers used at roadworks.
·To undertake job training that is specific to the service background and / or related to providing additional skills as appropriate.
·To take a pro-active approach to service delivery seeking and suggesting solutions to problems
·To share good practice with colleagues and develop a team based approach to all areas of work
·Use hand tools and operate powered hand tools, plant and machinery.

HGV class 2 Trained in the use of gully emptying pressure vessels.T1 and T2 of the Highway Sector scheme. Hours of work 07:30 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 15:00 Friday with a 30 minute lunch break each day.
