Our client, a major regional contractor with a solid financial and technical base spanning a wide spectrum of civil engineering and building projects within UK infrastructure, including rail, airports and highways; is currently looking to build up their team in Southampton with a Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager).
The role of Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager) is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company, with a large number of projects in the rail, airports and civils sectors.
The Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager) will be responsible for ensuring that all Quality, Environment and Safety practices, policies and processes are adhered to, to ensure the safe, and efficient running of a variety of projects. The successful Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager) will be responsible for providing effective safety leadership through the development of Safety, Health and Environmental policies and strategies. The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of either engineering, construction or rail industries and will have previously worked on civil engineering projects. The successful Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager) will have previous experience in a management role and will ideally hold a relevant Health and Safety or Quality qualification with experience of ISO9001.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on Civil projects including roads, highways, bridges, water, rail infrastructure and airports.

The role of Quality, Environment and Safety Manager (HSQE Manager) is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company, with projects in both the rail and airport sectors. The role will be varied with a combination of project and maintenance works, with projects ranging in value and often exceeding several million.
