Project Installation Engineer
Our client, a telecommunications systems integrator, providing 'turnkey' communication systems from design through to site commissioning and support. They are currently looking to recruit a Project Installation Engineer to enable complete site installation activities at a major rail station.
The successful Project Installation Engineer will provide a single point of contact for both the customer and site engineers for any aspect associated with the delivery of site installation and commissioning activities.
The Project Installation Engineer will be involved with all supplier negotiation and liaison, in addition to providing technical assistance to the site installation team. The Project Installation Engineer will also be responsible for the on time delivery of services and the provision of manpower schedule requirements.

In order to apply for the role of Project Installation Engineer you will need a detailed technical knowledge of at least 2 of the following systems: Civil Works, Fibre, CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, Met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN's, WAN's, Entertainment or Cabling and Power Supplies, and will have experience of site installation and commissioning of a number of these systems.
The ideal candidate for the position of Project Installation Engineer will be HNC qualified or equivalent, ideally with proven training certification in a relevant sub system. The role of Project Installation Engineer will suit an individual with excellent communication skills, experience in team participation and presentations, experience of working in a role involving customer interaction, and excellent time management skills.
