Our client, a leading private sector education provider, has an exciting vacancy for an experienced Project Manager in South London. The Client in question is launching a joint multi-million pound initiative with a local London authority with a core aim of greatly improving the schooling system for those aged 13-18. The post is permanent and extremely well paid.
The overall purpose of the post is to oversee the commencement of the service and manage its performance, once in place, across the schools. In order to do this the successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
•Act as the key point of contact between the Management Committee in charge of the schools as well as the directors of the borough.
•Deliver the services in line with the education partnership's business plan
•Liaise with various supply chains to ensure all services are being delivered
•Manage contracts between various suppliers to ensure the services are delivered
•Manage the performance of the initiative and the staff within it, using KPI's Market Testing and VFM charts.
Due to the seniority of the position all applicants are expected to have vast levels of experience within Project Management and leading teams, advisors and various partners. Knowledge of demands and requirements of Education Community projects is mandatory. Also mandatory is the knowledge of Private Finance Initiatives (PFI's) and Supply Chain Management.
