An green invention called the 'eco-cube' could help companies comply with environmental laws, by saving toilet water.

The eco-cube washroom system contains a strain of friendly microbes that allows urinals to become completely chemical free and reduces the need for flushing.

Bath-based company, eco-works ltd created the environmentally friendly product to assist businesses attain the environmental management standard ISO 14002.

“The eco-cube microbial system allows not only the washroom urinals to be chemical free but also the entire washroom floor, tiles and WC’s, as our unique product contains an active microbial strain that genuinely cleans all hard surfaces of decaying organic matter incredibly effectively. Chemicals are no longer a necessity” said Scott Johnston director of eco-works ltd.

“Those companies and institutions currently using our product are not only impressed with the cleanliness of their washrooms, they are also complying with the very latest and toughening European legislation such as REACH “.

The eco-cube microbial system is used by many hundreds of business around the UK, from council authorities, major institutions, blue chip organisations, schools, SME’s to pubs and clubs.
