go&pay's cash-based internet payment service is helping Stansted Airport passengers take advantage of a new door to door minibus service which takes them straight to their front door.

Sky Transfers claims fares on its new 'Stansted Shuttle' will be less than the cost of average airport parking charges, but more convenient.

For those who may prefer to book online and pay offline in cash or with debit card, Skytransfers is offering go&pay.

This allows customers the option and peace of mind of not having to pass their credit card or debit card details over the internet by simply paying at any of the numerous convenience shops offering the payzone bill payment service.

The Stansted Shuttle, which is due to launch on Monday, December 10, is based on 'shared ride' services which are popular in the United States.

A fleet of new eight and thirteen-seater mini-coaches will operate the new service, which will take passengers between the airport and any address in Essex and some surrounding areas.

Prices will be £55 return for a Family of 4, £45 return for a couple and £30 for a single person.

This will be much lower than the £120 average taxi return trip to the airport and will be much more eco-friendly.

Colin Bland, Stansted Shuttle's head of sales and marketing, said: "Our value for money fares will appeal to both budget and business travellers who are looking for a door-to-door, personal service."

The mini-coaches will run seven days a week, departing every 60 minutes 24 hours a day. A timetable will be shown online at www.stanstedshuttle.info or at Bus Stop 30 at Stansted Airport Coach Station.

Passengers should pre-book by using the www.Skytransfers.com website to guarantee seats or walk up at the airport and join the queue. For journeys to the airport, travellers must pre-book to get picked up at home.
